Trip to USS

Finally! I trip to USS with D! This is my second trip in Singapore (first for Halloween Night) and the fourth time after USS Japan and USA. In comparison, USS Japan and USA is much bigger with more exciting rides, and of course the sweltering weather here doesn't help.

Spotted a minion and had to snap a picture with it.

Caught the Madagascar team dancing to their theme song.

Shrek's Castle. I think I watched the 4D animation for 87569 times already. Always remember Donkey sneezing into my face.

Just before a mini roller coaster ride at Shrek's castle. Needed it to 壮胆 cos I was feeling jittery about the Mummy Ride which D wanted to take. I know I should try it too since I'm here. Anyway I did Space Mountain in Japan which got me all freaked out and the Jurrasic Park ride which plunges vertical down and made my heart popped already. What more to be thankful that the space galactic ride is closed for good and I literally heaved a sign of relief.

The roller coaster was less than a minute, and I screamed my lungs out as usual. But it was okay, enough for me to get scared and before I knew it, I was done with it.

We went on a Monday, hoping to stay clear from the weekend crowd, but USS still seemed crowded with tourists! On average we waited about 30-40 mins for each ride.

It was difficult. First joining the long queue for the popular attraction, and I forgot to leave my bag at the lockers provided before the queue (no one told me before the queue! upon joining the queue inside there were announcement to inform everyone that anyone with bags cannot sit the ride.) That made me worried after all the queuing I won't be able to take it anyway. Then after 30 minutes there were announcement that the ride would be delayed for a short while. But after a while later they said it would be delayed till further notice and it was advised for us to leave the queue for other rides first.
We were really contemplating to leave but just when we were about to do that another announcement was made and everyone applauded.

From the jitters of taking the roller coaster to realisation that we won't be riding it anymore and then having the ride back to normal again. Had to beg the crews to allow me to leave my bags at a corner and collect it later. In a way I thought it was not entirely my fault since instructions weren't given when I was queuing for the ride at the beginning, right?

An obligatory photo to be taken after I conquered the ride. D refused to hold me or pacify me at all. All he said was just enjoy and don't close my eyes. Seriously??
It was scary, but I thought it wasn't as bad as Space Mountain or Jurassic Park. It wasn't continuous, started with a chilling story, roller coaster, spooky story again, roller coaster, then ended. I guessed the break did help.

#ootd by D. Not bad hur.

We were walking away already when D saw Sesame Street Performing behind us!

There, Cookie Monster looking right at me, waving.

I'm so delighted I caught such pretty pictures of them all! So colourful and happy!

Saving pasta from space with Elmo.

Again, D spotted Oscar. Just like how he spotted Sesame Street and Shrek with Fiona in hand. I super duper love this photo!

the fluffiest unicorn.

We were famished and took our lunch at 4pm at Sushi Tei.

Never get tired of japanese food.
