Eason Chan's Concert 2014

Oh heyyy! My virgin live concert with D!
I never ever am willing to part with my money to watch a singer's concert no matter how famous he/she is. It's too expensive and watching their youtube videos or buying their album is good enough for me! But D loves Eason Chan and we did say if he comes to Singapore to perform someday, we will go. So here we are!

Another reason for this date out, was to do different things together, not just the usual popcorn movies,  exploring neighbourhoods and stuffing ourselves with food. One new adventure off the list!

We came about half hour earlier cos we din wanna queue and rush but we were really too kiasu.

Excited D. Seldom pose for photos, but now with this face.

I was quite disappointed with the seats actually. Paid more than 200 bucks and we are seated at the very last row of the front facing seats?! What got me whining even more was when the lights turned off and I found out that the very front rows had blue light sticks and we don't!! Why??!

It was a 2 hours concert with Eason Chan belting out many lovely and some very popular ballads that even a non-fan like me could relate to. He sang a few upbeat songs during a section with really cute props but I believe many came here really to hear his ballads more than anything.

He wasn't a pop singer with all the over the top costumes, props and dances, and he almost never even say a word nor rest throughout the whole performance. It was just song after song, and just a short interval once in a very long while while he changed into his next attire.

D said it wasn't as good as he thought it would be, and I can't really compare cos I haven't been to any other singer's concerts but I think it really depends on whether one is looking for solely listening to his live singing or wanting to watch a whole package performance.

Here's me with my clapper lightstick complimentary from Amex booth outside the concert hall, with the  stadium staff reminding us to not use them during the performance. -_-
