Singapore Food Festival 2016 - STREATS

Decided to join in the fun, crowd and queue at this year food fest! Just look at the number of people and the long queues for food!

As with all festivals and events, food were a little pricey, at least $5 for a portion, which probably won't be enough to keep you full. But the whole point is to be able to enjoy good food brought together in one place.

Tender juicy veal cheeks with mantou from The Disgruntled Chef.

Wanton Mee from Wanton Seng's Noodle Bar. Watched them glaze the pork on the spot!

Ngoh Hiang, Poh Piah and Kueh Pie Tee from Kway Guan Huat. Poh Piah skins were made fresh on the spot, so no complain about the queue!

Tandoori Chicken Murtabak with Mushrooms and Cheese from Casuarina Curry.

Kueh Dardar Waffles from Stella at 1-Altitude for dessert.

This flatlay won me a a pair of tickets for a Kueh Appreciation session. Disappointing one hour spent watching the chef prepare two kuehs. There were so many people in the class, instructions from the chef was unclear and the screen which was what most of us rely on to see the demonstration was being adjusted every single minute, it was actually annoying.

Oh well, at least the photo above taken by yours truly is awesome.

Love,
M
