Food Review: Food R Us

Dad brought us to this new food place and I am sold!

Food R Us is located at Farrer Road, a corner shop below the cluster of flats.

There is a lunch special menu, even on weekends. We ordered a lunch menu for 2 which, really, can feed 4, and 2 other dishes.
There's also an appetiser of tangy unripe mango which opens up your appetite!

The 4 heavenly kings cooked to perfection in sambal.

This honey roasted pork is amazing.

And for our menu for 2, we have a whole fish, tofu and claypot chicken!

You can have your fish cooked in many ways. We chose it steamed with this sour and spicy gravy which I can't stop eating. They use chilli padi so it's quite spicy even after we requested to tone it down.

I love this fried tofu too! It's made with some paste inside... prawn or something.. and goes well with mayo sauce.

Soy Sauce Claypot Chicken. This dish can't go wrong. The chicken is simmered till all tender and tasty. Thumbs up!

Ended our lunch with mango sago for dessert. Unlike most places where you always can't get enough of it, the serving here is huge! It's more of a gooey texture with coconut, and pomelo ice shavings in the middle. Everyone loved it!

I enjoyed every single dish. Even the brinjal in the first dish when I usually don't touch it at all.

They have huge tables that can accommodate up to 14 pax, as well as a private room with 2 tables of 10pax. Perfect for large families or friends.

Do call to enquire about their special Mother's Day Promo too!

xoxo,
M
